IIT Jodhpur has announced PhD admissions for 2026 in Aerospace Engineering, opening a direct route for BTech graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) who hold at least an 8.0 CGPA. Candidates can apply without taking the GATE exam, provided they meet other program‑specific criteria. The application window closes on October 20, 2026. Research themes include space technology, drones, flight dynamics, artificial intelligence, and composite materials. The move aims to attract engineering graduates keen on transitioning directly into advanced aerospace research.
💡 Why It Matters
