Jessica Chastain stars in the horror film Other Mommy, directed by Rob Savage, playing both a mother and her demonic double. The 90‑minute movie follows seven‑year‑old Bela, whose mother Ursula (Chastain) is secretly having an affair. Bela befriends the sinister Other Mommy, leading the family on a frantic escape as supernatural attacks occur. Critics note the film’s underdeveloped premise, uneven special effects, and lack of suspense, despite Chastain’s strong performance. The film’s release highlights her continued presence in genre cinema.
