About TechCapsules
Tech News, Briefed.
TechCapsules is an independent, India-based tech news brief service. We curate the day's most consequential stories across roughly 30 categories — AI, semiconductors, space, robotics, cybersecurity, consumer tech, and more — and publish them as short, accessible briefs that link back to the original reporting.
The idea is simple: help readers stay informed across more sources than they could practically follow on their own, without pretending to replace the publications doing the original journalism. We're open about what TechCapsules is and how it works. Briefs are produced through an AI-assisted summarization pipeline reviewed by a human editor before publication — the full workflow is documented on our Editorial Policy & AI Disclosure page.
Who We Are
TechCapsules was launched in 2025 by Shubham, an independent developer-publisher based in Ghaziabad, India. The site is a solo operation. Every layer — the WordPress theme this site runs on, the Python content pipeline that ingests and processes articles, the AI summarization integration, the editorial review, and even this About page — is built and maintained by one person.
Operating solo means we keep things honest about our scope. We're not an investigative newsroom, and we don't claim to be. What we are is a careful, technically capable curation service for people who want broad daily coverage of the technology space without the time investment of reading every original source. The trade-off is intentional: we go wide rather than deep, and we credit and link to the publications that go deep.
What We Do
Curated Briefs
A daily selection of consequential tech stories from a curated list of trusted sources, across roughly 30 categories.
Built for Speed
Each brief is short by design — a 60–80 word summary plus a "Why It Matters" section — so you can scan a day's tech news in minutes.
AI-Assisted, Human-Reviewed
Summaries are produced by language models and reviewed by a human editor before publication. We're transparent about this — see our Editorial Policy.
Source-First
Every brief credits the original publication and links to the full article. We summarise to inform, not to displace the reporting we rely on.
How We Operate
A few principles shape the way TechCapsules works. Be honest about what we are, including the role of AI in our workflow. Send readers to the original source, not away from it. Stay narrow enough in scope to do one thing well. And keep the operation lightweight enough that one person can maintain it without compromise on transparency.
If any of this matters to you as a reader, our Editorial Policy & AI Disclosure goes into the full workflow — sources, AI tools, human review steps, corrections process.
