Tesla snags $30B in fresh credit lines for expanding its biggest projects
Tesla secured $30 billion in new credit lines to fund its largest projects. The deal includes a $20 billion, three‑year delayed‑draw term loan from Citibank, a $8 billion, five‑year revolving facility and a $2 billion, 364‑day term loan from Wells Fargo. The loans mature between 2027 and 2029, with Tesla able to draw up to ten times over 18 months and extend for one year. The funding will support production of the Cybercab, Semi, and Optimus, all requiring new manufacturing lines.
