PUBG: Battlegrounds has launched a partnership with K‑pop girl group IVE, featuring the 2022 hit “Love Dive.” The update, live on PC and arriving on consoles November 12, adds three IVE‑themed locations on Rondo, six character likenesses, outfit and weapon skins, and special emote stages that play music videos or album art. Players can also use Cupid’s Crossbow and interactive elements on starting islands. The patch restores two PvE modes with higher difficulty and introduces a new Hell [...]

IonQ, a trapped‑ion quantum hardware company, has signed a commercial partnership with QuantumCT, Connecticut’s public‑private quantum strategy initiative. QuantumCT will procure cloud access to IonQ’s commercial systems for regional organizations, expanding local use of trapped‑ion processors that offer all‑to‑all qubit connectivity and long coherence times. The arrangement enables developers to benchmark algorithms on real hardware without maintaining cryogenic or vacuum infrastructure, and supports a modality‑diverse computing environment alongside existing superconducting and photonic platforms. The deal marks the [...]

Qualcomm announced a partnership with SpaceX to develop a 5G Starlink mobile network slated for a 2027 U.S. launch. The deal will use Qualcomm’s Dragonwing QRU100 and QDU100 platforms, Massive MIMO radio units, and Layer 1 software to build a high‑capacity, scalable network. Qualcomm describes the collaboration as its largest 5G deal yet and a foundation for future AI‑native 6G. The agreement follows SpaceX’s recent rejection by T‑Mobile for a similar MVNO arrangement.

IonQ has partnered with Connecticut’s QuantumCT initiative to grant state universities, research labs, startups, and businesses access to its trapped‑ion quantum computers. The deal provides more than 150 hours of cloud runtime for research in quantum algorithms, optimization, materials science, and workforce development. QuantumCT will distribute IonQ’s cloud resources across its network, anchored by the University of Connecticut and Yale, aiming to position Connecticut as a national quantum research and commercialization hub. The partnership enables hands‑on experience [...]

SpaceX announced a multi‑year partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to provide the radios, baseband units and Layer 1 software for Starlink Mobile’s planned U.S. terrestrial 5G network. The deal, described by Qualcomm as its largest 5G contract, will use the Dragonwing QRU100 and QDU100 platforms to power Massive MIMO units with 64 × 64 transmit‑receive paths, aiming to boost coverage, capacity and spectral efficiency. Deployment across tens of thousands of cell sites is slated to begin in 2027, complementing Starlink’s satellite‑direct‑to‑cell service [...]

Blumhouse and Atomic Monster have rebranded their joint studio as Blumhouse Atomic, following a partnership announced two years ago. The merger has already yielded releases such as M3GAN 2.0, Night Swim, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, The Mummy, and Other Mommy. Jason Blum praised the collaboration, noting the combined catalog includes major franchises like The Conjuring, Insidious, and Saw. James Wan highlighted the studio’s role in nurturing new horror voices, citing successes like Obsession and Backrooms. Upcoming projects include [...]

The University of Chicago and Toyota have signed a multi‑year agreement to investigate quantum technologies for future mobility, sustainable transportation and secure vehicle systems. The partnership will fund up to $1 million per year from Toyota and launch five joint research projects covering quantum communication, sensing, materials discovery, theoretical modeling and electronic properties. Work will draw on faculty from UChicago’s Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering and embed graduate students in industry‑aligned teams. Researchers aim to translate quantum‑level precision [...]

Czech satellite builder Spacemanic and Belgian optics firm Simera Sense have announced a joint offering that pairs Simera’s xScape200 Dual‑Use camera with Spacemanic’s 16U CubeSat platform. The xScape200, a 12U‑sized, low‑size‑weight‑power (SWaP) imager, delivers high‑resolution, dual‑use (commercial and defence) imagery without requiring a larger, more expensive spacecraft. Spacemanic integrates the camera into its in‑house‑designed platform and the SPACE CANNON deployer, which can accommodate up to 16U and provides an expanded envelope for side‑protruding payloads and a “tuna‑can” bottom section.
