Google has released a new Home update that enhances the “Find My Phone” voice command on Gemini speakers, promising improved quality and reliability. The update also refines Gemini’s voice handling by filtering background noise, speeding responses, and better supporting multilingual households. In the Home app, users can now turn off lights by dragging the brightness slider to zero, receive more accurate camera and doorbell tiles, and see fewer Matter switches marked offline. Nest device setup and a preview for Doorbell ringtones are also included. The app update is rolling out on Android.
