Google starts rolling out its upgraded Pixel screen savers to the Pixel 9
AI-summarised brief · reviewed before publication
Google has begun back‑porting its Pixel 11 screensaver styles to older devices, starting with the Pixel 9. The update adds new themes—Clock, Charge, Weather, Photos, and Home Controls—to the Pixel 9’s docked‑charging experience, previously available only on newer models. Users report seeing pop‑up demos and can swipe through the options. The rollout is gradual; many Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 users have yet to see the new styles, indicating a phased deployment.
