AI-summarised brief · reviewed before publication
Apple’s “Welcome Home” event on October 13, 2026 will unveil the HomeView hub, a new Apple TV 4K, and a refreshed HomePod mini. The HomePod mini arrives in powder pink, forest green, blue, black, and white, powered by an S10 chip for faster performance. The Apple TV 4K receives an A19‑based processor and built‑in microphones, enabling Siri voice control without a HomePod or remote. Both devices ship on October 30, expanding Apple’s smart‑home lineup.
💡 Why It Matters
- · The added microphones on the Apple TV eliminate the need for a separate HomePod to access Siri, streamlining home‑automation setups and potentially reshaping how users interact with Apple’s ecosystem.
