Gemini ‘Task’ redesign integrates Spark into the main chat app

Google has merged its Gemini Spark personal agent into the main Gemini chat interface, adding “Chat” and “Task” buttons above the prompt box. Galaxy S27 Ultra might take eye strain seriously amid rumors of DC…

Samsung is rumored to add DC dimming to its upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, aiming to lessen eye strain. The leak, attributed to X tipster Walle and reported by Android Headlines, says the company is consulting safety firms to refine the technology for its Eye Comfort Shield feature. Current Galaxy devices rely on pulse‑width modulation (PWM), which rapidly switches the display on and off and can cause flicker‑induced headaches for sensitive users. DC dimming, used by some competitors, adjusts brightness by varying voltage rather than flickering, offering a smoother visual experience. If implemented, the change could differentiate the S27 line from previous models and address longstanding complaints about prolonged screen use, and may set a new industry benchmark.

💡 Reducing flicker‑induced fatigue could make high‑end smartphones more viable for professionals who log extensive screen time, potentially reshaping user expectations for display comfort.
