This robotic lawn mower makes sense in autumn too: Anthbot N8 review
AI-summarised brief · reviewed before publication
The Anthbot N8, a wire‑free robotic lawn mower, distinguishes itself with a rear‑mounted basket that automatically collects grass clippings and leaves, raising the basket at a preset drop‑off point. In testing, the device performed smoothly in gathering debris, but its nearly 1‑meter length hampers maneuverability, especially during turns and edge trimming. Obstacle detection was subpar, and the mower operated loudly and consumed significant power. Despite these drawbacks, the N8’s dual mowing‑and‑collection capability offers a practical solution for lawns with tall grass or heavy leaf litter.
💡 Why It Matters
- · By integrating leaf collection into a single unit, the N8 reduces the need for separate leaf blowers, streamlining fall yard work.
- · Its performance trade‑offs highlight the ongoing challenge of balancing size, noise, and efficiency in autonomous lawn care.
