Amazon has the Nintendo Switch 2 for a bargain price right now,…

Amazon is selling the Nintendo Switch 2 for AU$699, a discount from its September RRP of AU$769. The deal mirrors a similar offer from JB Hi‑Fi that has since expired. The console is sold without games, but buyers can use the savings to offset expensive titles such as the Ocarina of Time remake. Other Amazon titles, including Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Star Fox, also see modest price cuts. The discount may become rarer as Black Friday approaches amid rising hardware costs.

💡 The price drop offers a rare chance to secure a flagship console before projected inflation pushes prices higher, potentially reshaping consumer expectations for future gaming releases.

PS5 Horror Game Gets Exclusive Feature With a Unique DualSense Use &…

Silverpine Creek, a PS5 horror title released earlier this year, received a free update that adds a DualSense‑specific mechanic. The update forces players to interact solely through the controller’s built‑in microphone, requiring silence to avoid alerting the game’s antagonist, the witch Korana. Without weapons, players must solve puzzles, collect ritual items, and use camera flashes strategically while navigating a cursed village. The feature leverages binaural audio, similar to that used in Hellblade, to heighten immersion and make every footstep audible to the witch. Developed by Phantom Toast, the game is also launching on PC and other consoles, and currently sells for $9.99 on the PlayStation Store, holding a 4.21‑star rating from 34 user reviews and continues to attract horror enthusiasts.

💡 By turning the DualSense mic into a core gameplay element, the update demonstrates how hardware can redefine horror interaction, setting a new benchmark for immersive design on next‑gen consoles.

AppleInsider’s guide walks readers through each step, offering a practical roadmap for a quieter device experience and helps preserve mental focus throughout the day.

💡 By letting users batch and mute alerts, iOS 27 turns the iPhone from a distraction engine into a tool that respects attention, a rare shift in a platform built on constant engagement.
