Don’t let iPhone Duo go unprotected, these are the best case options…

Apple’s iPhone Duo, the company’s first foldable smartphone, faces a unique protection challenge because its hinge must remain free‑moving while the device stays shielded. Case makers have responded with seven options from Spigen, Torras, ESR and OtterBox, ranging from ultra‑slim MagSafe‑compatible shells to rugged covers with dedicated hinge guards, reinforced corners and integrated stands. The Spigen Nano Pop MagFit, priced at $26.99, pairs a polycarbonate interior with a TPU exterior and includes N52 magnets but leaves the hinge exposed. Torras offers two higher‑priced models: the Q3 Spin ($69.99) adds a 360° magnetic stand, hinge guard tested for 30,000 cycles, and a tempered‑glass protector; the Q3 VegSkin ($79.99) provides a leather‑like finish, a slimmer rear shell, and a rotating stand. ESR’s Classic Hybrid Magnetic Case combines a clear‑black aesthetic with a flexible stand, while other rugged options add extra corner reinforcement and MagSafe compatibility.

💡 The emerging ecosystem of iPhone Duo cases demonstrates how accessory designers are redefining protection standards for foldables, turning a potential durability weakness into a selling point for premium, multifunctional accessories.

Ternus spent 15 years planning the iPhone Duo

Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus, has spent 15 years refining the iPhone Duo, a foldable device that finally launched in 2026 after rivals beat Apple to market.
